Community Meeting - Register to Attend

Plane Sense from Plane Sense

Our 14 September community meeting will update those affected by the DMAPS flight path change on:
✔️ Expert evidence filed in our High Court Judicial Review.
💬 Potential Class Action — seeking monetary compensation for impacted homeowners.

Evidence highlights serious concerns in the CAA’s own documents — including reduced aircraft separation and regulatory breaches. Some documents, uncovered only through the OIA process, were not disclosed to the Court by the respondents. We’ve now ensured they are.
🚨 The CAA’s internal safety concerns about DMAPS were never shared with the public during the Airport’s 2024 public consultation.
📍 Community Meeting
🗓 Sunday 14 September, 2–4pm
📌 Johnsonville Community Centre

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
