๐Ÿšจ IMPORTANT UPDATE โ€” COURT DATE POSTPONED ๐Ÿšจ

Plane Sense from Plane Sense

We requested that the High Court hearing be postponed, due to delays by the respondents.

๐Ÿ”น They filed their affidavits late, leaving our team without enough time to prepare responses.
๐Ÿ”น They have refused to share key documents, forcing us to rely on the Official Information Act.

๐Ÿ”น Just last week, the CAA confirmed critical safety documents โ€” due 16 April โ€” will now only be provided after the original hearing date.

โณ A new hearing date (the next available this year) will be confirmed soon.

We remain determined to ensure our communityโ€™s voice is heard and that our case is presented as strongly as possible.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, thereโ€™s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need ๐Ÿช™๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿช™

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship โ€” like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
