Office movers needed
Are you physically strong? Are you available on Saturday 23rd March for a few hours? One of our members needs a couple of volunteers to help them move offices. The office is based in Thorndon and they're moving to another level in the same building. You will be supporting an organisation who is improving the support and medical care available for those affected by Endometriosis and who is combating period poverty in our community. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
