Come snorkelling with Mountains to Sea!

Tessa Johnstone from Mountains To Sea Wellington

This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to see the beauty of our underwater world. Take a peek at the fascinating array of marine organisms that live right here on our doorstep, out of sight, just under the surface.

Join Mountains to Sea Wellington for a guided snorkel at Taputeranga Marine Reserve, Whitireia Park, or Kāpiti Island.

Beginner snorkelers are encouraged (but you must be comfortable in the water). The minimum age of snorkellers is 8, and those under 16 must be accompanied by a snorkelling adult.

We provide all the gear free of charge and will also buddy you up with an experienced snorkel guide to facilitate the best experience possible. Our guides will get you kitted out, answer any fishy questions you might have and generally look after you whilst you take a dive into the salt and spray.

Jan 21 - Taputeranga Marine Reserve, meet at Island Bay Beach
Jan 28 - Taputeranga Marine Reserve (location tbc)
Feb 18 - Whitireia Park
Feb 25 & 26 - Kāpiti Island (This is a paid, ticketed event)
March 4 - Whitireia Park
