This paint stripping system uses infrared heat to soften the paint or varnish to the point that it is easy to scrape off. Its particularly good for lead paint as no volatiles are released. I bought this a couple of years ago and only used it once briefly. Still have the original packing. It comes with a support arm which you can attach to scaffold (if you were scraping your house).
