Releasing
Good Afternoon all,
RELEASING continues in our planting lanes this Sunday morning 19 March.
Don't forget your gloves and some sunscreen and a hat. If you have a small hand fork, that's useful too. It's not strenuous work - simply focussed, eye-hand coordination to recognise and pull out the pest species and preserve the native regeneration!
Rendezvous: Errol's place 155 Cecil Road, Wilton by 9:30am
RSVP: 021 139 3818
If any of you have time midweek, ground preparation for the 2017 tree planting has started! Again, let Errol know if you can help out during the week.
Cheers. 🌿🌿🌿

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
