Supp-oar-t Us

Hannah from Mount Victoria

Kia ora!

The oar-some Wellington Rowing Club novice women's crew are fundraising so we can make it to the NZ National Rowing Championships in February. We would love for our mahi to pay off and bring home some medals to Pōneke!

As part of our fundraising efforts we will be holding a raffle. We are reaching out to local businesses, hoping we can receive some items/vouchers to raffle off, please get in touch if you can help us out with a raffle donation!

Additionally, we are crowd-funding to raise funds givealittle.co.nz...

Thank you in advance!

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
