The countdown is on to the Wairarapa Balloon Festival! This magical event is completely FREE, and fun for the whole family. There will be lift-offs from different locations each morning, and balloon competitions where balloonists use their technical skills to complete a series of challenges.

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
