Do you volunteer or know someone who does?
It's NZ Volunteer Week (16-22 June) and we know there are real good sorts in your community.
Often these kind acts and regular volunteering efforts go unnoticed but let's put a stop to that.
Let us know below who is making a difference in your neighbourhood so we can all appreciate them for the great work that they do!

Despite Wellington Airport and Airways promoting socially responsible messages online, both have sent insensitive responses to vulnerable individuals in our community and are resistant to change. Wellington International Airport and Airways New Zealand have been receiving genuine messages of suffering, from community members with existing health and wellbeing concerns, since the flight path changed 18 months ago. The Airportβs latest noise report shows that, according to WHO research, one-fifth of our neighbours could be suffering levels associated with adverse health effects.
This is one of many issues, including legal, public health and safety concerns (involving Civil Aviation Authority of NZ, and Wellington City Council as a shareholder).
