Cupping Therapy is an ancient technique that has been recently made famous in the news by professional athletes and Olympians such as Michael Phelps.

The technique of cupping involves the use of small glass cups and the use of a heat source that is then placed on the skin for a few minutes to create suction. The use of cupping is similar to a deep tissue massage but less force or pressure is used to create the same effects. Cupping relaxes Muscle tension, pulls out toxins that are embedded into the musculature, helps relieve pain, helps remove inflammation, and increases circulation by improving the flow of blood and Qi.

It is part of an estate and as I already have a ( less fancy ) Senseo that is still going strong after 10 years, I am selling this one. It works with Senseo pods ( biodegrable filter paper) available online and from Dutch shops. The coffee is very nice indeed. If you like you can buy a bag of 36 pods off me for $9.
The machine is very simple to operate and comes with 1 and 2 cup podholders, a pod that you can fill with your own ground coffee ( which was bought as an extra) and the 2 original glass Senseo Quadrante cups.
I saw an EBay advert yesterday ( photo) where a Quadrante is offered for the rather exaggerated price of over NZ$ 600 !
