Dress for success Fashion Show 2023

Sasmita from Newtown

Dress for Success Wellington in partnership with Vanish New Zealand are excited to present "Sustainable Fashion for a Better Tomorrow" - a Spring fashion parade and fundraising auction, at the stunning Homewood, Residence of the British High Commissioner.

Proceeds of the evening will go to Dress for Success to continue the work we do to help our community members thrive in all aspects of their lives. The evening will feature two fashion shows, raffles, and a chance for you to bid on some fantastic items from local businesses - including a Bosch washing machine and WoW tickets!

We are proud to have Vanish as a key sponsor as they show their commitment to sustainable fashion and enabling clothes to last for longer.

Tickets to this event are $80 and include drinks, canapes and a goodie bag.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
