The kids are predominately type 1 diabetics - an autoimmune condition that cannot be prevented and has no cure. They must inject insulin for the rest of their lives. DYW runs amazing camps and support events for the kids and their parents/caregivers. So if quiz nights are your thing please consider registering a team as per the attached poster. Follow us on facebook (@DiabetesYouthWellington) for more info (like the great raffle prizes on the night). Thanks!
