Seeking Summer Pocket Money

Helen from Crofton Downs

Are you going away over the holidays??

After doing really well for the last couple of summers, and absolutely loving it, 12-year-old has asked me to put the word out again about her availability for looking after your pets over the coming summer.

Over the last two summers she has she managed to earn enough to buy herself a cake mixer, a Fitbit, roller skates, clothes, lots of bits and bobs, endless packets of mentos, and funded all her spending money for an overseas trip, with enough left over for the rest of the year. 😊 Not sure what next year will bring for her but she’s keen to have a few dollars put away to make the most of whatever it is.

She's keen to feed small pets and birds, water pot plants/gardens, walk friendly dogs etc etc. Available immediately and throughout the summer up to the end of Jan. Please keep her in mind if you're away for a few days or a few weeks.

Rates negotiable! References available from happy customers.

Needless to say she will be fully supervised! 😊 Text me on 0226206258 to arrange for an intro visit. 😊

Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.

Addictive Eaters Anonymous

The Team from Addictive Eaters Anonymous - Wellington

What is Addictive Eaters Anonymous?

Addictive Eaters Anonymous (AEA) is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from addictive eating.

AEA has members who have suffered from anorexia, bulimia and binge eating. Many have been underweight, overweight or obese; others were people of average weight yet suffered with an obsession with food. Members may have used exercise and other substances to try and control their weight. Before coming to AEA, members found that they were powerless over food, and unable to stop the food obsession.
