Most Main Street businesses will light up their buildings with some putting on a special light show each evening. They'll be a giant Christmas Tree outside the Town Hall and beautiful window displays and wreaths and garlands adorning buildings. Will Santa show up in Greytown? Taste of Cultures is a celebration of Wellington's cultural diversity through food, music, dance, speakers and voices from our former refugee communities.
We are so grateful that the team at Te Papa have opened up the Te Marae event space for us, guests will enjoy a private viewing of their exhibition 'Stories from refugees in New Zealand' before dinner.
Tickets are $120 per person, or $900 for a table of 9 guests.
We are aware that a lot of New Zealanders have been significantly affected financially by COVID-19, and though we need to continue to fundraise for our work in helping vulnerable people, we would like to offer anyone who has been affected COVID-19 an opportunity to attend this incredible event.
