Greytown's Festival of Sparkle....whoops...Christmas continues!

Looking for a good winter day out this weekend? The Greytown Festival of Christmas is really putting on it's sparkle this weekend: there's a new light projection show to see on the the colonial buildings as soon as it's dark and Martin Bosley's Yellow Brick Road Oyster Saloon pops up outside Pinnochio on Friday and Saturday evening from 5pm. The Christmas Market in the Town Hall
on Saturday from 10am till 3pm offers olive oils, plants, honey, arts and crafts, soaps, jewellery, beauty products, wooden handmade bowls and all sorts of other locally made products. With free parking and beautiful decorations and store window displays it's the boost we all need this winter. Come and see for yourself.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
