Updated alert: major work on Wallace Street
UPDATE: The major work on Wallace Street in Mt Cook has been delayed until January 5, 2020. Residents in the area have been advised of the changes. The update has been issued here.
The major upgrade will allow the installation of major new drinking water pipes that will connect to the soon-to-be-built Omāroro reservoir. Read more here.
Wallace Street will be closed to through traffic between John Street and Hargreaves Street, with Wright Street the diversion route and Adelaide Road a preferred alternate route. People should expect traffic delays in this area.

How much does it cost to join AEA?
There are no dues or fees for joining AEA or attending AEA meetings. We are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions. At some point during each meeting we pass the basket to help cover expenses, such as the cost of rent and literature. Members are not obliged to contribute, but we usually do so to the extent we are able.
