We don't always think in our outdoor areas on a wet cold weekend heading into shorter days but just a thought from an experienced deck designer/builder , when the weather clears your deck areas will be dry and usable in a few hours whereas the lawns can take days to dry out . Cost wise this is a great time to talk designs and costs and get free advice . Also we can sort repairs and maintenance. Contact Pete Ashton 7days/ 0274403242 . Feijoa fundraising – thanks for the support
This message is just to express thanks to all the people who responded to my fundraising post www.neighbourly.co.nz...
The fundraising has made a significant dent in the cost of my ballet winter school fees.
I will probably have feijoas available for the next couple of weeks if anyone wants some more...
Cheers, Gemma.
Poll: Have you ever been bullied?
People associate bullying with children in schools, but it can actually stretch beyond childhood to workplaces or neighbourhoods.
This Friday is Pink Shirt Day, which began in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against homophobic bullying after a new student was harassed for wearing pink. People across the globe are now encouraged to wear pink on this day to take a stand against bullying and promote inclusivity.
Have you or your whānau ever experienced bullying? Share your thoughts on Pink Shirt Day below.
