Free Concerts

Craig from Tawa

Jonathan Lemalu is singing with Virtuoso Strings on November 12th and 13th. Jonathan is one of the best singers that NZ has ever produced – he is a Grammy Award winner, a Professor at the Guildhall in London, and has sung in opera houses and concert halls all over the world.
Virtuoso Strings is an orchestra of string players from Porirua and surrounding areas. Tenor LJ Crichton and soprano Katherine Winitana are also singing.
I have written several new songs for this concert – it will be an exciting evening! See you at Aotea College on the 12th or St.Andrews on the Terrace on the 13th! Free entry, koha appreciated. Suitable for ALL ages!

Stamps wanted

Marty from Johnsonville

I run a Stamp club at Tawa School to encourage children to collect stamps and learn about countries, history and more. Unfortunately new stamps aren't often seen these days as it's all electronic! If you have any stamps or old collections sitting around, let me know and I'll come and get them.
