Police seek information after hit and run in Tawa
A person is in hospital with moderate injuries after being struck by a car in Tawa on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened on Main Road, Tawa, about 8.40am as the pedestrian was crossing just north of Victory Cres. The driver of the car did not stop and continued driving northbound.
The car was believed to be a gold-coloured Daihatsu Charade.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the car involved to contact them and quote event number P047410436.
