Wind damaged trees

Kevin from Harbour City Tree Care

With the strong winds that we have had in the last day or so there may be some of your trees that have developed a lean or fallen up against other trees or buildings. Please don't attempt to remove or straighten these trees yourself as you may put yourself at risk of injury or damaging property. Get a professional to come and evaluate the condition of your trees, and recommend what should be done. Trees rely on friction to stand up and with the saturated soils that we have at the moment, trees that look stable may have started to move within the ground, so get a professional arborist to come and look at you trees, to put your mind at rest.
