Poll: Don't you dare cut my child's hair?

Jared Nicoll Reporter from Kapi-Mana News

A city councillor raised an interesting point on social media earlier this week about whether or not it was ever appropriate for other well-intentioned people, perhaps friends or family, to give their child a haircut. How do you feel about other people deciding when your kid should have a haircut? Is it a big deal if a family member does it with good intentions? Or is this treading on mum's toes?

*Please put NFP if you'd rather your comment wasn't used in a potential newspaper article*

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
