On track for tragedy?
The photo of a child biking in front of a Tawa train is pretty scary.
There are concerns incidents like this are getting more common and we're keen to hear your thoughts on the crossings in and around Porirua.
Are they safe enough or do they need more safety infrastructure?
The picture was taken at Redwood level crossing - have you been there and do you think it's safe enough?

Stamps wanted
I run a Stamp club at Tawa School to encourage children to collect stamps and learn about countries, history and more. Unfortunately new stamps aren't often seen these days as it's all electronic! If you have any stamps or old collections sitting around, let me know and I'll come and get them.
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
