I am somewhat surprised that I should have to conserve water when there is a water leak in our street from a fire hydrant that flows 24/7. I advised Council of this leak in early September and received the acknowledgements etc and advised me to tell them if it got any worse. I did this a couple of weeks later - and still got another acknowledgement notice from WCC and Wellington Water - BUT no fix. I do wonder just how many other water leaks there are around our City that need a fix. Will we have to wait for the new Government 3 Waters to do this work? A lot of water wasted before then.
