The Music Learning Centre in Redwood has a couple of weekly lesson slots immediately available for violin, piano and cello students.

My wife, Liz Sneyd, is our violin teacher. She is a Phd in Maths and Violin, has a Queen's Service Medal for Music Education and a NZ Secondary Schools' Teaching Certificate. She has been a professional musician and teacher for 30+ years.

I am the piano teacher. I have a Masters degree in Composition, Licentiate Diploma in Piano from Trinity College, and a Queen's Service Medal for Music Education. I have been a professional musician since the 1980s, as a pianist, viola player, composer, arranger, music typesetter (very experienced on Sibelius software) and teacher. I can also help with advanced Theory and Composition.

Our son Benjamin Sneyd-Utting is our cello teacher. He has a B.Mus. in Cello and Composition, and an Associate Diploma in Cello from Trinity College. He's in his Honours year at the NZ School of Music at Victoria University this year.
