Best News 2022..arise 'Sir Ashley Bloomfield'

Sandra from Normandale

Congratulations to Lower Hutt's Sir Ashley Bloomfield.
As an elected member of the Hutt Valley District Health Board, I worked with CEO Ashley on committees of the combined Hospitals [Hutt, Wellington and Wairarapa]
Ashley always had time for a chat and check in.
Well done to Sir Ashley, so proud of you and your family.

Pete from Churton Park

Once again the usual people are putting their bins out without securing the lids , bloody rubbish all over . Please use your brains and get one of the rubber clips , next time I screw the damn lid down then at least we know your recycling is still at your place

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
