This 50 minute documentary describes how Cubans met the challenge of an embargo on virtually all their oil in the 1990s. Their successful transition to a low fossil-fuel economy proved that such a transition is possible, and gives numerous insights into the difficulties and how they were overcome. The film will be followed by an open discussion of its content, and how we might relate it to our own Transition challenges.
