Stealing my plants from the road reserve.
Hi I live in Lyall bay and i wonder why is it that people heading back to their cars feel its ok to steal my plants. I have paid for them and put out on my sand dunes in front of my house. While it is road reserve i have put plants in to hold the sand in place. By having the dunes in front i get less sand in the house and at the back of house and stops the sand from spilling onto the pavement.
If you want a cutting please come in and ask for one. We are more than happy to do this rather than having them being ripped out.
FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles
Merry Christmas -
I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.
Best wishes - Michael
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
