WCC Planning and Environment Committee meeting Wed 20th Oct
Hi all - our resident Jeff Weir will be speaking at the committee meeting tomorrow morning on behalf of the Guardians of the Bay and our Residents Association. He will voicing ours and others real concerns regarding the acceptance of WIAL's East Side Area notice that allows them to expand onto the golf club land. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
