New timetable for No 12 buses
If you have not noticed the no 12 service has recently been extended so now almost all of the services run to and from the Railway Station - this is from Monday to Friday. There are a few services - mostly early morning or late at night - that run only to/from Kilbirnie. But this is a great improvement for flexibility of travel from our suburb and we are really happy that our and others advocating for improved services has been heard!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
