water shortages in Wellington
Just been watching the TV news predicting that Wellington is going to be suffering severe water shortages in the coming summer months.
And I'm wondering, why is the WCC spending so much time, money and resources on digging up and replacing perfectly good gutters in Island Bay (and other suburbs). They've been doing this work literally for months in Beramphore and Island Bay. And the old gutters appear to be in quite good if not very good condition.
Why are they not using this time, money and resources fixing our water infrastructure???
I don't understand. Is it just me wondering this????

-
59.2% Yes, supporting people is important!

25.6% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
15.2% ... It is complicated
