Have you or your loved one experienced a stroke at any time through your life? Re-Connect is a small community of people living with the effects of stroke who come together twice per week in Kilbirnie to exercise in a safe environment. Classes are run by a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, a retired nurse and a personal trainer and rehabilitation exercises are tailored to suit your individual needs.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
