This World Book Day, 23 April 2022, we want to see more children develop a life-long habit of reading for pleasure, and enjoy the opportunities and benefits this brings them. Designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, World Book Day is marked in over 100 countries around the globe.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
So we want to hear what you think:

SISTERS OF ST PETER CLAVER MISSION FAIR
Come along to the annual Mission Fair!
There will rapid raffles and stalls including toys, plants, jewellery, cakes, jams, etc.
Proceeds go to purchase five plastic water tanks in Kibuye-Bondo, Kenya and construction of toilets for Nseng-Long parish and village in Cameroon.
