Southgate Park Playground WCC Feedback Live
Hi Neighbours! This message follows up on one from almost a year ago, seeking support for a new playground to be built at Southgate Park. After formal proposals to the WCC and the online petition, there is finally a WCC community feedback form to decide if budget to be spent THIS FINANCIAL YEAR will go to build a new playground at Southgate Park or upgrade the playground at Sinclair Park.

I hope that you will agree that creating a playspace at Southgate Park is ideal as opposed to an upgrade of the Sinclair Park space as
at Southgate Park there would be
- easy, flat access from the car park and main road, much better access for wheelchairs buggies and physically dependent
- It would allow for our community to get to know one another as you can see who is playing and stop in
- Safer playground to visit as parents know that should something untoward happen, they can get to safety and be seen and heard.
-It would encourage kids and parents to get out and be active
