Road closures due to Open Streets on Sunday October 28 at 9 AM to 1 PM.
Wellington City Council is hosting Te Ara Tapere ki Pōneke (Open Streets in Wellington) a free, fun, active event for everyone, on Sunday October 28 at 9 AM to 1 PM.
More than a kilometre of roads in the CBD from Hunter Street to Jessie Street will be closed to allow people of all ages and abilities to take over the streets. Walk, play, ride and roll.
Bus routes 3, 18e and 21 will be diverted away from Taranaki Street. Please expect delays to all routes travelling through the CBD.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
