$2 electronic day at Second Treasures
Did you know it’s International E-Waste Day on 13 October? To celebrate, Second treasures (The Tip Shop) will be selling all electronic items (except TVs, laptops and phones) for just $2. Come along to get yourself an electronic bargain! If you have any e-waste (phones, laptops, TVs and other electronic items) you can bring it to Second Treasures where we can dispose of these items safely.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
