Diabetes Youth Wellington Quiz Fundraiser
hi all, I'm sharing on behalf of a great charity who help children and teens with diabetes, and their families, across the Wellington region. The kids are predominately type 1 diabetics - an autoimmune condition that cannot be prevented and has no cure. They must inject insulin for the rest of their lives. DYW runs amazing camps and support events for the kids and their parents/caregivers. So if quiz nights are your thing please consider registering a team as per the attached poster. Follow us on facebook (@DiabetesYouthWellington) for more info (like the great raffle prizes on the night). Thanks!

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
