Tomorrow is a big day at Queen Elizabeth Park. It’s going to be epic. Come along, pitch in and be part of the restoration plan for one of Greater Wellington’s awesome natural playgrounds.
Plant a tree, #leafyourlegacy and have as bit of fun. Local musicians will be playing. There’ll be a huge supply of the sausages being sizzled and you can come make a difference.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
