Resurfacing works on Oriental Parade
From Tuesday 6 April to Friday 16 April, crews will be surfacing Oriental Parade between house numbers 162 and 245 (from around Freyberg Pool down to Grass Street past the Band Rotunda).
Working hours are 9am – 4pm. During this time, this section of Oriental Parade will be under stop/go traffic management.
Bus services will not be affected by our work although it may cause delays during work hours.
Pedestrians and cyclists will still be able to use the route, but must follow the directions of the crew when doing so.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Poll: Would you want an unconventional funeral?
Funerals can cost as much as $22,000 and the planning can be stressful especially at a time when loved ones are grieving. Some New Zealanders are re-imagining funerals by making their own coffin or having a relaxed ceremony at home. Would you want a less traditional funeral? Share your thoughts below.
