Palliser Road resurfacing
This is a reminder that the remaining resurfacing work on Palliser Road will be completed next week from Monday 4 May to Friday 8 May.
The work area is from the intersection of Palliser Road and Bayview Terrace, through to the intersection of Palliser Road and Roseneath Terrace.
Please ensure any vehicles parked in this area are relocated clear of the work site before work begins. If they are not moved we will have to tow them to a suitable location.
The road will be closed to through traffic between 7am and 5pm each day. Residents and tradespeople will still be able to access their properties – please follow the instructions of crew.
If you need to catch a bus, alternate routes will be in place using shuttles. More info at: www.metlink.org.nz...
Rubbish will still be collected so please put your bags out as normal.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles
Merry Christmas -
I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.
Best wishes - Michael
