Testing a new service

Shane from Mount Victoria

Hi everyone

I'm a Service Designer with the Department of Internal Affairs. We are working on how to make it easier for parents to prove information about themselves and their children when applying for services.

We’re looking for people who have had a baby in New Zealand in the last 10 years (ideally in the last two years). We will show you some of our ideas and we want you to give us your thoughts about those ideas and any ideas you have.

We will call via phone/Zoom/WhatsApp or Messenger and show you some pictures so it’s important you have good internet access.

When: Wednesday 13th or Thursday 14th , May 2020

Time: Sometime between 9am and 8pm. The session will take up to 1 hour.

In appreciation for your time you will be given a $50 shopping voucher.

If you're interested you can email me on shane.ngan@dia.govt.nz

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!

FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles

Michael from Newtown

Merry Christmas -

I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.

Best wishes - Michael
