Free: two single bed wooden head boards

Caroline from Berhampore

I’m doing a clear out of things stored under the house. I have two nice wooden head boards for standard single beds. Beds not included! They are in pretty good condition albeit dusty! Could be cleaned and used as is. Or painted.

I’ve put them out in front of the garage at #47 Te Wharepouri Street. It’s first in first served. If you want them come and take them! I won’t be putting them aside etc. I just want them gone. If they’re still here by tomorrow arvo I’ll be taking them to the recycling shop at the tip!

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
