New Zealand's small businesses have had another tough few weeks. We're calling on you, wherever you are across the country, to recognise a local business making a difference in your community.

We all love a cheeky grin and a wave from our local grocer, or a toot from the delivery driver, or a coffee order that’s ready before we arrive. These are the business owners who remind us we're home.

Give your favourite local business owner the recognition they deserve by nominating them in the 2023 Prospa Local Business Hero awards.

Celebrate Neighbours Aotearoa with a special "Potluck of Everything".
'Neighbours Aotearoa' takes place 1-31 March and the theme this year is "Let's Share", so at the Miramar & Maupuia Community Centre we are holding a unique potluck style event. Free for all!
This potluck is special because it's not just bring a plate of kai but also bring a "plate" of music, of art, of garden seedlings etc. In other words, bring food plus something to share e.g. your guitar, your singing voice, some poetry you might want to read, artwork that you want to show off, your coolest dance moves, or teach a game and we can all play!

If you want to attend but also help out, let us know, we will give you something to do!
