Brick Bats to New World Miramar wednesday 24th Jan

Geffrey from Strathmore Park

Today as I went through to pay, the very polite cashier said $99 and I said to him that seems to be too much, however he took my $99 and I said I will check receipt and I did guess what. So he missed the 4 nectarines but charged me $36 for a fruit platter which I never bought. So he missed the 4 nectarines but charged me $36 for a fruit platter which I never bought. Annie fixed it all up for me but here is the warning EVERYONE. Check your receipts is imperative I think and how many other mistakes are made if you don't check.
I phboned management very apologetic but think more care needs to be taken tha we the custome do not pay for something we never bought. so today a BIG BOO BOO BOO for NEW WORLD Miramar Geoff

Key benefits we will be looking for include removing tariffs and other barriers that restrict the flow of goods and services between our countries, and closer cooperation on progressive trade issues, including environmental protection.

Hey neighbours,

All New Zealand police officers will receive new stab- and bullet-proof vests in a $20 million roll-out over the next three-and-a-half years.

The current vests - which were introduced in 2006 - are stab-proof, but special vests are worn by any officers involved in firearms call-outs.

They have passed their warranty, but remain "safe and fit for purpose", says Police Commissioner Mike Bush.

What do you think about the new armour? Are police officers safe using the current vests? Are you surprised the existing vests aren't stab- and bullet-proof?

Free bike - pick-up only

Francie from Hataitai

My previous flatmate left his bike behind and it'd be great to get rid of it. It needs a LOT of TLC (has been stored outside). He had problems with the tyre I think... There's a spare inner tube. Happy for you to come look - no obligation to take it :)
