WORK WANTED 🙋♂️. Anytime is a good time to have your decks and structures checked for deteriorating timbers and fixings . Rot and rust don't just fix itself. Those areas that don't seem as stable or solid as they did , should be checked , heavy mould builds up and traps moisture damaging timber .Handrails that have movement when leaned against can be a sign of fixings failing. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
