Could you offer an evening meal for the Tapu Te Ranga Marae whanau?
Meals for the Marae whanau are now being coordinated through St Hilda's in Island Bay, who have set up an online page on the platform called "Take them A Meal". takethemameal.com...
After the tragedy of the Tapu Te Ranga Marae fire, the marae whanau are left without their usual buildings for cooking and eating. There is a lack of refrigeration and storage areas, so we're looking for an evening meal for a large group (rather than small frozen meals, etc).
Please deliver to the house between 5 & 6pm on the day.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
