As I am still young, I will need a home where I am not left alone for more than a few hours this is until I am older and settled into my new home. I am super social and love having a good play so I could go to a home with an existing gentle dog, or a confident cat. I still have a lot to learn so would love a home that has the time and patience to enroll me in puppy school, this is to help me become the best companion I know I can be."

Melinda and Chris decided to leave their corporate jobs in 2019 to help spread good throughout the greater Wellington community through their charity, Leatham Charitable Trust. After Janice, Melinda’s mum, sadly passed away from cancer, the two have recently turned to support Cancer Society Wellington through an unsuspecting business– self-service laundromats.
As Janice was cared for by Wellington Hospital and the Cancer Society Wellington, the pair felt it was only right that their newly opened laundromat, located just up the road, support the cancer charity. Melinda and Chris also recently made a very generous donation of $10,000! Thank you so much to Melinda and Chris for all you do in our community and for your ongoing support 💛

I would like to go to a quiet home where there may be a comfy couch for me to sleep on, and maybe even a lap that I can curl up on and keep you warm on a cold night. Due to my shyness, I won't be much fun in a home with young children as I like to live a peaceful life, older children may be okay, as long as they know when to give me some time and space to myself if I need it. I don't enjoy being in a room with other cats....I do have a medical waiver my new family will need to be made aware of."
