Social Sewing Studio - Open to everyone

St Vincent de Paul Society Wellington

The Vinnies Re Sew studio is open to everyone and anyone who wants to get creative with recycled fabrics, repair clothing, learn new skills, or simply chill out in an inclusive and supportive space.
You can create or repair items for yourself, your family, or the community - or get involved in one of our current projects that supports charities and community groups.

All ages and levels of experience welcome!

📍 Where: Vinnies Op Shop, Mezzanine floor, 32 Rongotai Road, Kilbirnie (access is via stairs only).

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
