It’s Seniors Week so get your glad rags on and join us for devonshire tea, scintillating conversation with our Kaiarahi (National Library staff) and a special highlights tour of the exhibitions of the National Library.

Join us to learn more about the National Library of New Zealand over morning tea, take a tour of Aotearoa’s three founding documents in the He Tohu exhibition and explore with our staff some of our country’s greatest talents in the new exhibition ‘Pukana: Moments in Māori Performance’.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
