Hello all, I hope everyone is well. I was hoping to take 2 seconds of your time to get a feel for and idea I am simply contemplating.

I am a licensed realtor with Harcourts however, I am also a qualified adult trainer, I was thinking of starting a free monthly class where we can meet up in a casual setting. During the class I would go over some for example: tips/tricks about how to buy your first house, what on earth does tender mean, what do I do at an auction? With time for a good old yarn about the market if you wish!

Really appreciate any feedback, like I said just an idea to see if the demand is there :)

Thanks so much,
Duncan Traill

This amazing new motorway provides a safer, stronger and more reliable route for people and freight in and out of Wellington. And because it’s engineered to the highest standards, it can cope with the weather, storms and earthquakes we get in this region.

It’s an incredible piece infrastructure, and we can’t wait for you to experience it.

A heads-up, if you’re heading south don’t forget that Paekākāriki is the last exit for 15km – that’s a long detour if you miss your exit!

For heaps more information, including maps, driving advice and great videos, head to tg.co.nz

Recycling Day this Saturday (2th April)

Yan from Ngaio

Hi neighbours, the next recycling day will be on Saturday, 2th April, at 10am to noon, as planned. We will still set up our collection buckets on the outside the church. Hope the weather will be nice. It was a fresh experience to have the recycle items on the care which was like a garage sale.

Hi neighbours, the next recycling day will be on Saturday, 2th April, at 10am to noon, as planned. We will still set up our collection buckets on the outside the church. Hope the weather will be nice. It was a fresh experience to have the recycle items on the care which was like a garage sale.

Here is a reminder that we can only take lids which are stamped with number 2 and 5 from now on. These must be separated. we now have separate buckets for each plastic type. We do suggest that your items are sorted at home before coming.

Also, it's amazing that our collections have been used to make lovely things, such as the pot shown below in the picture which are 100% made of recycling plastics. It just feels encouraged to continue our recycling event.

What we are recycling, pls check here: ngaio.org.nz...

Thank you for all the support. We will see you on Saturday.

Recycling update

Just a reminder that glass collections are still paused as several of our waste collection contractors are unwell with COVID-19.

In the meantime, residents can either stockpile their glass or drop it off for free at the Recycling Station at the Southern Landfill.

Rubbish and co-mingled recycling are being collected as usual for now – but some co-mingled items may go to Landfill depending on staff capacity at the sorting plant on the day.

In the meantime, if you want to ensure all your glass collection is processed, you can drop it at our Recycle Centre, or stockpile until we are back to full capacity

We apologise for this disruption. Our thoughts are with our contractors and we wish them a speedy recovery.

"Hey, I'm Cruise and like my name suggests, I am a very chill dude who is happy to make friends with both humans and dogs. I am confident, curious and full of beans when I'm not by your side or enjoying some zzz's. I would make the ultimate exploring companion for the outdoorsy type and I am bound to keep you on your toes with activities all year round. Still being an eager young lad, I have been learning how to walk nicely on lead and how to stick close off lead for some excellent hiking adventures. I thrive with the company of other dogs and am wanting a canine brother or sister to go home to as I don't want to be left alone for the day. I'm not suitable for a home with young kids but I love to meet all sorts of people. Unfortunately I'm not able to go to a home with cats or small animals. I'd make a great family dog or a companion for a solo owner. I am a boy who loves to cuddle up against you and enjoys going on outdoor adventures with you and your existing dog."
