Beginners Spin Poi class at Kilbirnie Community Centre starts this week
Playing with poi is a lot of fun! SpinPoi can be done sitting or standing and is suitable for almost everyone. Inspired by traditional poi, it has been adapted by Dr Kate Riegle van West to be a safe and effective exercise, especially for older populations. On top of the usual benefits of exercise, typically people will see improvements in grip strength, attention, focus, balance and coordination. For more information on SpinPoi, and to see people playing with poi, go to www.spinpoi.com...

Combining biking with bus travel
Hi neighbours
Anyone out there who, like me, would love to bike more, but have difficulty getting their bike on the rack on the bus ? It's sometimes necessary, so as to avoid steep hills and roads where I don't feel safe.
Metlink say their drivers aren't meant to help.
